Rosie Motene is a well-known South African actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as a journalist on the SABC1 soapie, Generations, from 2000-2004. She is also known for hosting the M-Net magazine show, Studio 53. After leaving Generations, she was cast in the international film, Hotel Rwanda. Rosie is also involved in campaigning against women and child abuse – and recently participated in a United Nations campaign against abuse, which involved climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Rosie visited the Proudly South African offices recently, before taking the Proudly SA flag to the summit.
